I mean really, a title? Yeesh….

I have Praxis II this Sat morning. 2nd class of my MIT programs started Sunday.  In the 2nd week of my online Professional Development class for work.  Have a week long workshop next week…followed by the rest of the workshop and lessons done entirely online thru Aug 15th.  I am tired.  And I didn’t exactly pass the first class for my MIT program so this is going to be a long haul.  But I feel like it is something I must do.  I NEED TO DO IT.  I am NOT prepared for the Praxis this weekend…being loopy from the meds I received after this damn wisdom tooth debacle kinda hurt my planned progress on that.

I think I am going to disappear for a while…maybe that will work.  Anyone got any suggestions?

A lot of my kids had to recite this poem for English this past semester…I hadn’t heard it since childhood. But I was helping them learn it (yes, I am a Math teacher, but they weren’t focused on my work so I decided to lend a helping hand) and realized that it is a VERY strong piece. I used everyday things they dealt with to help them learn it…so, I shall post it for you all as well.

Yeah, I know. Things all of a sudden got hectic at school. And I just stopped having time… Right now?? I am recuperating from having my damn lower wisdom teeth yanked and lemme tell you: it hurts like HELL. Throat sore, too. I am a pitiful lil thing right now LOL.

Also, as some of you know, I don’t look NEARLY as heavy as my weight says I am. I was 228 in Feb when I got the flu. I have lost 22 of those pounds ppl. … continue reading this entry.
