the “sprung” post 25 July 2007

I sent out a mass text message asking people for their definition of the word “sprung”.  I rather liked the responses I received, so I shall post them here for you all to see.

• When words have no justification anymore and my puss inherits a mind of her own–i know i’m sprung.
• Uhh..being completely infatuate with someone; liking or loving most, but usually all attributes of someone; having tunnel vision with regards to one person.
• When you find yourself doing, dealing with, & taking stuff you never thought you would.
• Blind. Willing. Ready.
• …when you are completely enveloped in a person and completely oblivious to flaws r when the sex is SO GOOD that reality is ignored.
• “Sprung” according to urbandictionary.com: falling in love with someone to the point that they are constantly on your mind & you can’t live without them and your everyday is either good or bad depending on how it went with them.
• In the words of Teddy Pinned-Her-Ass: “got me doing things i never do…”
• Sprung is when you [are] in the club with your robe and sandals looking for your lover with a flashlight.
• Thinking about you all the time, wanting to be with you all the time, and doing things out of the ordinary to be with you. (my personal fav)
• It’s not washing your face after sex so you can think about nothing but her on the drive home.
