[standing beside the car...their conversation comes to a close]

“bye, before i decide not to leave.”

“but, baby, I didn’t DO anything.”

[she turns and walks away feeling the headlights and his eyes at her back]

[as she walks up the stairs and he drives away, she hears her name]

“Hey…”

[she turns around...]

he yells, “……………….”

“what did you say??”

[he turns down the music and slows down the car. repeats himself only yelling a little less]

“I care for you.”

[silence]

[she smiles..walks away with the realization that "No Ordinary Love" by Sade is making decisions in the background]
